Q is for Quorra
Quorra is our cat. I’ve posted about her before. Our first pet was a chocolate lab named Radagast, but the year before we bought a house was too hectic to care for him and he went to live where he could be happier. Quorra was wild when she came to us, but she adapted to us quickly, and repays us for feeding her by hunting a score of mice. She has caught at least 20 in the six months we have lived here at the Anchorage. She hoards doll clothes and stuffed toys, and considers Norah’s bed her nest. She is shy of loud children and outdoors. She enjoys soaking in the sunlight, like her namesake.
Sometimes I like to think about what we might name future felines. Quickbeam, Quill-n-ink, Quixote?
