A is for Asparagus.
Spring has sprung at our apple acreage. The old garden is unturned and overgrown with cockleburrs, but hidden among the bracken purple-crowned stalks are pushing up. We’ve yet to plant a thing, and here a harvest already awaits. I’ve got a feeling that discoveries like this are all around, we just have to keep a lookout.
