Brett turns 30 today. And I thought life was grand on my thirtieth birthday! So many dreams have come true since then.
The Anchorage is beyond our wildest imaginations. God has given us the desire of our hearts in this prairie homestead. For years we’ve been actively waiting for God to move; working to be content with living out our days in town; finding beauty in the mess; cultivating faithfulness in relationships and resources. Turns out our Portage taught us more than we knew.
We learned the cost of heating and maintaining 2500 sq.ft.
We learned how much space Brett needs for his projects and boundless collections
We learned about showing hospitality; meals, beds, safety, comfort, simplicity & grace
We sought to understand our calling, as individuals and as a family. What do we love doing? What are we good at? What does community look like for us? Here is the answer: three and a half acres on the windswept plains of Minnesota. Come and see the story that unfolds.
